Milena Ariel Romalis has been an assessor, counsellor and research associate with VRA since 2004. She is a renaissance woman in that over and above her exceptional background in education, child development and developmental disability, research and writing she is knowledgeable in issues of health, labour relations and modern culture.

Prior to joining VRA, she was an elementary teacher with the Toronto District School Board. She completed her BA in Political Science and a B.Ed. with a specialty in Primary/Junior Teaching, both at York University. She is a member Ontario College of Teachers.
